Please, remember to pray for our country, our men and women in uniform, Israel, the peace of Jerusalem, our missionaries in foreign lands, the lonely, the homeless, those in prisons, hospitals, nursing homes, and mental facilities, the fatherless, the orphans, widowers, widows, our young folks, our middle-aged folks, and our elderly. I will pray for you, my subscribers.





He must increase. But, I must decrease.





Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Ps.119:105





I MUST CLIMB HIGHER!


I'm in a race with time,

As up life's mountain I climb.

But, with much effort I shall reach the top!

Although weary I grow,

And my steps are getting slow,

It's for sure I cannot stop.

Ah, but I do not travel alone.

I'm one of God's own,

And Jesus is close by my side!

Although I face many trials,

As I travel life's last miles,

I shall in Him abide!

When winds of adversity blow,

I surely know,

They will not overcome me!

Then, at the end of my race,

The blessed face,

Of Christ, my Lord I'll see!

SUCH IS LIFE


Life is filled with changes it seems,

With broken hearts and shattered dreams.

Things seldom work out the way I planned.

But, these temporal things can't touch my soul!

My eyes are fixed on my eternal goal!

Heaven will be a much better land!

Loved ones often break my heart.

At times my world seems to be falling apart.

But, I'll understand it better by and by.

Ah yes, I'm tempted to run and hide.

But, I must struggle up life's mountain side.

It's pinnacle seems to reach the sky.

I've had my share of trouble and sorrow.

Sometimes I dread to face tomorrow.

Often warm tears run down my face.

But, though my emotions may run wild,

I have no doubt I'm still God's child!

With every situation He provides sufficient grave!
